The San Diego Jewish Men's Choir

created by Rhoda Gaylis (now under the baton of Sylvia Hartman) , has been singing together since 1998. The choir is not affiliated with any synagogue or religious movement, but subscribes to Jewish traditions. We are available to sing at any Jewish wedding or other life cycle event. We also perform at community events & concerts

Kol Hakavod come from a double entendre, depending on the hebrew letters Kouf or Kaf: with Kouf letter, it means, Job well done, and The Voice of the Blessed one for the Kaf letter.

We promote Jewish choral music as a vehicle to inspire Jewish life, culture and continuity. Kol Hakavod is creating a new world of Jewish music, musicians and culture for today and the future. 
If you have enthusiasm, and love to sing, please come and listen to our choir practice, every Monday at 7:45PM at the Chabad UC center.
